Located in Palmilla, Los Cabos, Casa Guaro reinterprets the tradition of the “coastal Mexican ranch” within a desert context. The design revolves around a central patio that encourages cross ventilation, creating cool, naturally lit spaces. The volumetric organization responds to the site’s topography, ensuring smooth transitions between indoor and outdoor environments. The project’s material palette balances neutral-toned stucco, locally sourced stone, and oak wood, resulting in a warm and timeless atmosphere. The use of native plant species contributes to landscape integration, minimizing environmental impact and reducing maintenance needs. With a functional layout that clearly distinguishes private and social areas, the home adapts to the rhythms of daily life in harmony with its surroundings.
